Planning notes
Dirt work and equipment repair are related, but they are not the same request. INeedDirt is the place to describe the load, material, access, timing, and dirt movement. The equipment note should explain what machine is down, where it sits, and whether the jobsite has trenching, slopes, utilities, or traffic exposure.
For faster routing, collect the machine make and model, location, symptoms, access details, and whether the problem looks like DEF/regen, hydraulic, electrical, welding, line boring, or preventive maintenance service.
What to include before dispatch
- Material type: clean dirt, mixed spoils, wet soil, brush, concrete, or unknown.
- Pile location, estimated load count, loader needs, and whether trucks can turn around.
- Photos of the pile, access route, and any debris mixed into the material.
- Pickup timeline, source location, and where the material is expected to go.
