Planning notes
When a site is blocked by a machine breakdown, the dirt request should still capture the stockpile size, material type, loader needs, truck access, and timing. The repair request should describe the broken machine, symptoms, and jobsite location so a technician can evaluate the issue.
Use official safety references when excavation, trenching, equipment movement, or worker access may affect whether trucks can safely enter and leave the site.
What to include before dispatch
- Material type: clean dirt, mixed spoils, wet soil, brush, concrete, or unknown.
- Pile location, estimated load count, loader needs, and whether trucks can turn around.
- Photos of the pile, access route, and any debris mixed into the material.
- Pickup timeline, source location, and where the material is expected to go.
